Judas Volume 1

Judas Volume 1 - Suu Minazuki This one I have mixed feelings about. The premise of a death spirit possessing a human and cursed to kill a certain number of people is certainly interesting. However, I don't think the execution of the story was terribly good. Maybe because this series is geared at older teens, maybe they tone things down a bit. The chibi elements certainly don't enhance the story; they actually detract from it. However, if you can get over that, and some of the more chaotic panels, there is actually a pretty good story underneath. The volume ends with a cliffhanger when a figure fro Judas's past reappears. Curiosity might drive me to seek out the next volume, but I am in no rush. It was overall an "ok" manga when compared to others I have read.
