Everything Is Miscellaneous: The Power of the New Digital Disorder

Everything Is Miscellaneous: The Power of the New Digital Disorder - David Weinberger Though this book made the rounds of the librarian blogs, I was not particularly impressed. Basically, the author says "digital good, print bad. Organization bad; chaos good." A few rips on librarians for the work they do. While it had some interesting historical notes, I honestly did not see the big deal. So, the Internet is less organized, and people are setting up their own forms of organization to suit their needs. Ok, then what? Even though everything is miscellaneous, as the author claims, there is always a method somehow, no matter how much he protests. A lot of this I already knew, which is probably why I did not care much for the book.
