I picked this up, and I was not able to put it down. I enjoyed this on a nice Saturday. I had read parts of it before, but until now, had not read the full run of Whedon's work on X-Men. It is a new and interesting take on characters that have been done many times before. The art is also pretty good. Overall, I will say that if you like this series, and you have some money to spare, this omnibus edition would be a good addition to your collection. Public libraries and others that collect graphic novels may want to add this volume to their collections. I don't think you have to be an X-Men fan or a Buffy fan (that is Whedon's big work he is known for. Personally, I do not like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but that does not take away from Whedon as a writer overall) to like this.
